It was a magical night for me and my son, and we both had our reasons. The lights, the music, the characters, the whole atmosphere was electric. I was watching him gasping by the juggler's fires, getting excited by the acrobat's routines, being scared by the clown. I caught my self being moved by seeing a young Adonis in my son's face. Once again I saw things that helped me understand my childhood in a better way, 30 years after. What we saw that night were discussed with excitement for days, as I did with my dad the first time I have been to the Circus.
